Dr. Prabhakar Rao Mandava
Chairman
Mr. Mandava Prabhakar Rao holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science (Agriculture) and a Master’s degree in Agronomy from Banaras Hindu University, where he was a top ranker. He has been associated with MHPL since its incorporation and was appointed Chairman and Managing Director in 2010. Previously with Nuziveedu Seeds Limited, he has received national recognition for his contributions to cotton research and development. He also serves as President of the National Seed Association of India and the Andhra Pradesh Chamber of Commerce.
Mrs. Asha Priya Mandava
Whole-Time Director
Mrs. Mandava Asha Priya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and Clothing Construction and a Master’s degree in Home Science from the University of Madras. Associated with MHPL since its inception, she contributes to governance and strategic oversight.
Mr. M. Venkatram Chowdary
Managing Director
Mr. Chowdary holds a BBA from Amity University, Noida, and a Business Management Certification in Finance from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Having worked with NSL Textiles before pursuing higher studies in the US, he brings strong business acumen and leadership to MHPL’s growth initiatives.
Mr. K. Ratna Gopal
Whole-Time Director
Mr. Ratna Gopal is a B.Tech graduate from Andhra University and holds an M.Tech from IIT Kharagpur. With over 46 years of experience in operations, project management, profit centre leadership, and fundraising, he has held senior roles at SAIL, BHEL, Chevron Corporation (USA), and other reputed organisations.
Dr. P Kotaiah
Non-Executive Director
Dr. Kotaiah holds a Postgraduate degree in Economics (Gold Medal), a Doctor of Letters from Andhra University, and is an Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers. His distinguished five-decade career spans banking, finance, economic development, and corporate governance, including leadership roles at NABARD (Executive Chairman 1992–1998) and consultancy for the World Bank, FAO, IFAD, and UNDP across 20 countries.
Mr. P. Mohanaiah
Independent Director
A postgraduate in Economics from Osmania University, Mr. Mohanaiah is a retired Chief General Manager of NABARD. Over his 35-year career, he has worked across multiple states in India, holding leadership positions that drove business development, rural development, and institutional strengthening.
Mr. Mannam Malakondaiah
Independent Director
A 1985 batch IPS officer and former Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Malakondaiah also served as Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of APSRTC. He advises MHPL on risk compliance, IT governance, and internal control systems, enhancing the Group’s security and regulatory alignment.
Mr. B R Prasad
Chief Risk Officer (CRO)
The CRO operates independently of business and finance functions and reports directly to the Board of Directors / Risk Management Committee, thereby ensuring objective oversight and regulatory compliance in accordance with RBI guidelines.
Mr. G. Venkatewara Rao
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. G.V. Rao oversees the Group’s financial strategy, compliance, and fiscal governance, ensuring sustainable value creation across MHPL’s diversified portfolio.
Mr. Rohit Jain
Company Secretary
Mr. Rohit Jain is responsible for corporate compliance, statutory filings, and ensuring adherence to governance norms, supporting the Board in strategic and regulatory matters.
